A cold day for PayPal and rememberances of Swordball
It’s winter in Montana again. Days like today make me wish for the ridiculously hot days of summer and Swordball. There is just something about filling up bottles of ice cold water to serve as high speed projectiles for your sword buddies to cut out of the air on a hot day.
It’s not hot though. It’s cold. Real cold. The kind of cold that makes us cranky and look for reasons to start up the forge. Cranky enough to decide we don’t want to use Paypal any longer. So, we put on our big boy pants and obtained a real live merchant account and Authorize.net payment gateway. Which is a good thing. A really fucking good thing for everyone. The real-time shipping calculations and choice of shipping agents alone make this a worthwhile journey. With the push of a button you can compare shipping costs for all options at the same time! Ok… maybe everyone won’t be as excited as I but there are many more options available than there were before. We will even have Zombie Tools Gift Certificates available soon. For those that liked the Paypal requests, we can still do e-mail invoicing and get the same things done.
As of now the site has been converted to the new gateway and shopping cart. Please excuse the drab gray Add to Cart buttons. They work and we will be making the whole thing tighter a little bit at a time. Let us know if you have any problems using the new system.

Hey I was just wondering where is the forum for new blade ideas. I would like to see a ZTools knife or dagger and I had a suggestion. Thanks,

when are we going to see some brave new designs? i can't wait until you have a scimitar looking sword or a broadsword type of weapon. i hope you guys start taking more chances with your designs.
Holidays are done so we will put some time into some new products. We do have a broadsword type in production which will be tight - so hang in there. We will get the reaper on the blades page and we are looking at a spear design.

what if i had some design ideas for spears, broadswords, or even similar to types that you already have (kind of), does this mean you won't accept similar designs, and if you do accept them, is there any kind of prize, discount, or payment or at least recognition that is given to those people whose designs are chosen?
i don't mean to be a complete zombie tool, but what kind of "accessories" are you guys cooking up, masks, canvass backpacks, clips so the knives we buy from you can turn into bayonets? I'm really curious to hear what is in the making or perhaps there can be a forum or voting forum that we can vote on things we want to see.

Also, has anyone checked out "Apocolypse Man" on History channel? looks freakin awesome. i hope they make a whole series out of it. some of the stuff he does would be hard to do in a zack apocolypse, like going into sewers.

hey, you guys should get the game "dead frontier" to have your weapons in it, i mean you advertise them, it only seems right for them to do so as well.

We are moving the shop right now but when we're are settled in a month or so we will try and get some new stuff out. We have a kick ass matching spear and short sword in the works and our version of an irish fighting stick. The scarab sheild has not been forgotten and we will also have some new shirt designs coming out.

I think its great that you dropped PayPal, they have too much of a monopoly. Never a good thing.
