Shop Photoblog: Blades on the Table

The shop worktable at the end of a night last week. In this pile of metal are a super-sized Apocalax that we’ve been working on, an Urban Bone Machete Mark II in the early stages, and a whole mess of smaller experimental designs that Joey has been messing with.

Wow sounds like awesome operation you got going, much skill is needed when doing some things, not that I'm saying you guys are not careful but hey blades whipping at you suck, anyway that's not why I messaged,I had an interesting idea that I have been thinking up for some time now I also build machetes and swords not to the calibre as you but hey an opinion is an opinion take it or leave it either way I thank you for listing to me thus far, My idea in a beautiful blade would be modeled off of the Ork sword off of LOTR with the hook at the tip this will catch the neck and sever it, the design would be more streamlined and about 25 inches long and a carved bone or horn handle

Is there any way that I could order a customized two-handed Apocalax?

TJ, we'd love to see a concept drawing when you have one.

Kyle, let's talk.

You guys taking bids on any of that "whole mess" of smaller stuff?

Bernard, we'll see how the small blades finish up. If we decide they're worth selling, we'll post them here as "shop specials."

super-sized double-edged Apacalax?, with about another 10-12 inches of blade? bout 50 inches long. 14 inch handle uniform for the double edge, maybe a 3 inch wide blade? like a mirror image of one mirrored at the spine. hit me up if you can attempt this, ive been working on something much, MUCH bigger than what i just listed, but i need something shorter, more quick for indoors when i cant weild my 7 1/2 ft. Wicked Claymore. email me with your reply. also got bluprints of my claymore if you want to see. i designed it and took everything in to consideration when planned. its not made yet, but will be soon. the steel im choosing is AR plate 505. from what ive been able to find out its the hardest most dent, scratch, abrasion resistant metal on the planet right now. i thought it a good choice for a huge chopping/basher/crusher like a claymore. tell me your input, all criticism accepted happily. smile
