Bladed Weapons for Zombie Defense

We miss you, Chris.

As some of you may have heard, Chris Lombardi, our photographer, master with a metal file, and maker of the sexiest pleats I’ve ever seen, has gone to Nepal for a year.  He may fly back immediately to kick my ass when he sees that I’ve posted the only photo I can seem to find of him. We can only hope, because, we just sold our last blade in stock.  We are in the process of another run of Zack Axes and Rough ‘n’ Readys and will be getting the blanks cut this week for the UBM Mark III, the d’Capitan and two new designs, the much procrastinated Para Bellum and the Harvester(a ZT take on a katana!!). All blades on the actual purchase page have been tagged with an Out of Stock line in the description. We have, however, left the Add To Cart button.  The thing is, we want you to have these blades. What we don’t want is anyone getting discouraged by the fact something is out of stock. If an out of stock blade is purchased we will contact the buyer with an estimated time to completion.

A special thanks to those who have purchased blades recently and kept the two of us remaining working like madmen. Thanks for your patience.

Fuckin’ Chris, we miss you.

Where have you guys been? You haven't updated in forever! I also can't wait to see the new blade prototypes. And also, what ever happened to the Scarab Shield? Are you guys still working on it? I am addicted to you're work. Help me out with some info?

Yes, an ass-kicking is definitely in order. Going public with a photo from the "Photo Shoot of Ultimate Gayness" is low, damn low. Those were intended for your self-pleasure, and your self-pleasure only.

I've just sent a bunch of photos from some time hanging out with blacksmiths here in Nepal making the traditional Nepali khukuri. I showed up in my ZT t-shirt and was shocked to find that the owner of the operation knew of us. Small world.

The khukuri shop was pretty low tech, but not much lower than at ZT. About the only tool that we use and they don't is the drill press. The rest of the process was fairly similar. And some of the blades were pretty tight. While they do make some crap for the cheap, tourist market, their higher-end pieces were sweet -- hefty girls with 3/4 inch back edges, full tang, nicely sculptured fullers, and decorative choils. They'd kill a bitch. In fact, they make a larger, one-and-a-half inch version that they use to decapitate water buffalo for the big Hindu festival, Dashain. I'll do my damnedest to get some photos of that madness.

Missing the shop. Missing y'all, bitches. Finish some blades fer fuck's sake.

That's "one-and-a-half HAND" version.

Harvester prototype is done and the blanks will be here monday, the first four are already sold but if anyone wants to be put on the waiting list then its first come first serve basis. Joey and I stayed up late last night and designed a full knuckle gaurd Kukri that we will cut out of some 5" railroad spring steel we aquired. As for the scarab, if you want you can buy one for $195, we can do a paypal request and we will just make it for you.
