A few weeks ago we put the blade through a series of torture tests with the goal of breaking the thing. We cut phonebooks, a wood pallet, a hockey table, a truck hood, a bike frame, some cinder blocks, and then did a number of bend tests. We’ve been playing with new bevel grinds, trying new processes, and even drinking new beers. In our last production run we thought we’d see what the Apokatana and Deuce looked like with a hammer-textured finish like that on the Backwoods Bone Machete, rather than our spattered acid etch finish. We like the results.
