Our axes are built from 5160 and 80CRV2 spring steel, full-tang and ready for real impact. Each is heat-treated to 55 Rockwell hardness, then finished with a 19-degree edge bevel for cutting precision. Handles are T-6 aluminum, permanently pinned with mild steel. Unlike historical weapons held together with an iron wedge, our construction is bombproof. Every axe receives a ferric chloride acid etch for corrosion resistance. We don't use a hammer and hope. We use science and obsession.
